The Arraial D'Ajuda is known in Brazil and in many countries because of its beautiful beaches amidst lush nature of the Atlantic, in the middle of the Discovery Coast, where he began the history of Brazil. The most widely used means to get to Camp is by ferry crossing the River Buranhém, where beautiful landscapes such as mangroves, coral reefs and meet the river to the sea can be seen during the tour.

Discovered by the hippie movement in the 70s, Arraial d'Ajuda gained international fame with its elegant simplicity and magic that enchants all who are seeking a reunion with nature without giving up comfort.

There are 12 km of coastline which are among the most beautiful of the Brazilian coast. The cliffs bordering the sea and the reefs form natural pools of warm water. Turns off the beaches of Fire, Araçaípe, Mucugê, Pitinga Taípe and range from desert or frequented, surrounded by coconut trees or vegetation of restinga.

In the city center are galleries and mini malls, which begin operating in late afternoon and only close in the morning and several restaurants where you can enjoy from the Bahian cuisine to international dishes.

Artists of all persuasions visited Arraial D'Ajuda. Many of them have a house there and coming back, creating the arch of the old things and making art out of this world.

With 3,500 beds distributed among hotels, resorts (5 stars) and inns, all with integrated architecture to nature, the bucolic Camp offers breathtaking nights that only end with the arrival of the sun, beautiful beaches in the Erase-fire Araçaipe, Mucugê, Pitinga and Taípe.

Church of Our Lady D'Help
Built by the Jesuits in 1549 and rebuilt in 1772, is located on a hill a little way from the coast. In the pediment, the central medallion invokes Our Lady D'Help venerated holy pilgrimage since the middle of the sixteenth century, when it was discovered a miraculous spring. Around this small pilgrimage church was forming the camp that got its name.
